About Our School
Shawano Community High School is a comprehensive high school providing programming to meet the educational needs of all students. Advanced Placement and College credit courses are available for college-bound students. Partnerships with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and the Wolf River School-to-Work project give students the opportunity to explore and experience a variety of careers and offer gateways to post-secondary training programs.
Innovative programming and alternative schooling is also provided for students with special needs. Distance learning via the KSCADE network is available to provide students with additional opportunities beyond the borders of the campus.
Shawano Community High School was completed in 1997. A 750-seat auditorium, four-station field house and a six-lane swimming pool are included in this state-of-the-art, technologically-enhanced facility.
