Mission Statement
 To provide lifelong learning opportunities and use of resources by coordinating partnerships
  with the schools, community and surrounding area.


About Us: Who is Shawano Community Education?

Shawano Community Education is an extension and service provided by the Shawano School District.
      The enrichment classes, activities, community partnerships and special programs for all ages makes
       the Shawano School District truly a community-centered school district.

About our staff:  Shawano Community Education has one full-time director, Sandi Kane, and one part-time secretary, Jill Arens.  Community Education is also supported by an Advisory Council.

The Community Education Advisory Council supports and promotes
the philosophy and concept of community education.
Members represent areas of the school district and specific program areas,
and help to identify and assess community education needs, interests and concerns. 

 

Meetings are held four times a year. 

Feel free to contact any advisory member with your ideas and suggestions

for Community Education programming.
